Letter from the Principal

Tiger Families,

I hope this message finds you well. I am excited to introduce a new way for us to stay connected and keep you informed about all the great things happening at Smithville High School—the Tiger Standard Monthly Newsletter.

The Tiger Standard will be sent home each month as a way to share important updates, celebrate the accomplishments of our students, faculty, and staff, and provide key dates and helpful links to keep you informed and engaged. Our goal is to make sure you feel connected to our school community and confident that you are up to date on everything your student needs to succeed.

Our very first edition is for the month of May and will highlight many of the wonderful moments from this past semester, including student achievements, events, and snapshots of school life. We’re excited to showcase the hard work and dedication that make Smithville High School such a special place.

Following the May edition, the next issue will be sent in August. This back-to-school edition will include important information to help your family prepare for the start of the new school year, including key dates, resources, and updates.

We are proud of our students and staff, and the Tiger Standard will be a meaningful way to celebrate their successes while keeping you informed every step of the way.
